My name is Aled Jenkins and I am a professional recording and mixing engineer based in North West London.

I have extensive professional experience, including at Abbey Road Studios, where I worked as an assistant engineer on sessions for artists such as Sting, Take That, Brandon Flowers (The Killers), Chris De Burgh and numerous film scores including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part 2, Prometheus and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

As a freelance engineer, I have recorded and produced albums and EPs for many bands including Smokey Bastard, The Longest Johns, Headlove, Portland Rise and Depresstival.

I studied Music and Sound Recording on the prestigious Tonmeister course at the University of Surrey where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in 2009.

As a musician, I have played and toured in bands across the UK and Europe for over 15 years and have written and arranged music for brass, string and a capella vocal ensembles as well as folk and rock bands.

I have been on both sides of the mixing desk and understand how satisfying it can be to bring musical ideas to life through the recording and mixing process.
